शुआट्स में सांस्कृतिक युवा उत्सव ‘एक्सप्रेशन्स’ का आयोजन

 प्रयागराज। शुआट्स के जैकब इंस्टीट्यूट आॅफ बायोटेक्नोलाॅजजी एण्ड बायोइंजीनियरिंग में दो दिवसीय सांस्कृतिक युवा उत्सव एक्सप्रेशन्स 19 का आयोजन हुआ। उद्घाटन मुख्य अतिथि प्रति कुलपति (शैक्षिक एवं क्यू.ए.) प्रो0 ए.के.ए. लाॅरेन्स तथा विशिष्ट अतिथि घाना नेशंस यूनिवर्सिटी के कुलपति डा. सैमुअल डोनल की उपस्थिति में हुआ। प्रो0 लाॅरेन्स ने प्रतिभागियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत किये गये सांस्कृतिक विचारों, पेंटिंग आदि के लिए उनका उत्साहवर्धन किया तथा कार्यक्रम के आयोजन के लिए विभाग के कर्मचारियों को बधाई दी।

डीन प्रो0 जोनाथन ए. लाल ने सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत किया। प्रथम दिन मेंहदी, जैम, क्विज, पेटिंग, गायन, कविता, कहानी लेखन, रंगोली, मटेरियल क्राफ्ट, स्केचिंग, फोटोग्राफ, निबंध लेखन आदि प्रतियोगितायें आयोजित की गयीं। कार्यक्रम में, डा. जे.एन. मिश्रा, डा. आरिफ ए. ब्राडवे, डा. जाॅन डेविड, प्रो. रूबीना लाॅरेन्स, प्रो. वीरू प्रकाश सहित स्टाफ सदस्य उपस्थित रहे।

Cultural youth fest ‘Xpressions’ inaugurated at SHUATS

Two days cultural youth fest of Jacob Institute of Biotechnology and Bioengineering (JIBB) Xpressions’ 19 inaugurated at University Auditorium Hall in the gracious presence of Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) A.K.A. Lawrence, Pro Vice Chancellor (Academic Affairs) and Guest of Honour Dr. Samuel Donkal, Vice Chancellor, All Nations University, Ghana. Chief Guest of the event addressed and congratulated the students and staff for organizing such events in the University and wished the best of luck to the participants for various events. Prof. (Dr.) ir. Jonathan A. Lal, Dean, Jacob Institute of Biotechnology and Bioengineering welcomed all the dignitaries, guests, participants and other students. First day of the event was consisted of various competitions like mehendi, JAM, Quiz, painting, singing, poetry, story writing, rangoli, material craft, sketching, photography, essay writing, etc. All the participants along with large number of students enjoyed the fest with great enthusiasm and zeal. Dr. J.N. Mishra, Dr. Arif A. Broadway, Dr. John David, Prof. Rubina Lawrence, Prof. Veeru Prakash  Dr Stephen Dass and other staff members were also present throughout the event.
